When it comes to food establishments we managed to explore a lot of them during our time in Dublin. This post portrays our favourite spots to have a delicious meal, enjoy a great barista coffee or get carried away by an amazing atmosphere.

1. Taco Taco

If you are a lover of Mexican food that’s the place you should visit first. Taco Taco is a contemporary Mexican restaurant in the city centre of Dublin offering a unique twist on Mexican cuisine. It’s not the cheapest, but the service and the ambiance make up for it. Also you should try their famous margaritas. Apparently they are the best in Dublin.

2. Industry & Co

Industry & Co is an award winning concept store in the heart of Dublin’s city creative district. Everyone who knows how hard it is to find unique interior items will fall in love with this place. In fact you can enjoy a great coffee or even eat your lunch whilst looking at your newly purchased item as it includes a café & deli.

3. Cafe-En-Seine

Visiting this place is a must-do. You would never expect from the outside how incredible this place is from the inside! What we love about Irish places is that those pretty narrow buildings with small entrances are in fact enormous. The interior is decorated in french art-deco style. In fact in the middle of the day it offers food and drinks, but transforms into a nightclub in the evening. We highly encourage you to take a stopover at Cafe-En-Seine.

4. Laine, my love

We stumbled across this hidden gem not far away from the Connolly train station. For us it’s one of the best if not the best coffee shop in Dublin. Their coffee is next level and their food options are on point. Inside, the interior is light and bright and looks comfortable and very inviting thanks to its white walls and coloured details.

5. Pichet

Our visit to Pichet was unexpected. We were looking for a cozy place to drink a pint of beer in the middle of the day. After a few minutes of strolling through the streets of Dublin we discovered this amazing pub & restaurant. We didn’t have a chance to try any food but after we came home we saw a lot of good recommendations. If you enjoy well designed interiors you should feel at home.
